Kayak fishing has been around for many years but it is only in the last 3 years has it become very popular. South Africa is one of the first countrys to take kayak fishing to new levels, we have the best build kayaks in the world and we export them all over the world. It is so popular in South Africa they sell well over 1000 kayaks a month and growing. They have an annual kayak fishing competition in Durban every year the first one took place 4 years ago and had 22 people take part. This year there were over 450 people entring.
